Working on a statistical project about ski jumping, I stepped over so many names of jumpers who have died way too young. Ron, I didn't know you, but I just hope that you are alright up there and watch over those who you love and who love you :) Have a good time up there! =)

I attended public school (Five Mile) with Ron for a number of years. While my sentiments regarding Ron's atheletic prowess echo those that have been described here, I would like to add that he was also, quite simply, a great individual. Unfortunately, I lost touch with Ron after those days, although I did run into him from time to time. Nonetheless, I've always considered him as a good friend of mine from grade school. I'm quite saddened to hear of his passing. My deepest condolences to his family.

I was fortunate enough to know Ron at Five Mile. I knew Ron as a great athlete and always one of the first to get picked in recess baseball games. As I've lived in the States now for 13 years I haven't had a chance to run into old schoolmates but Ron was one person that I would have made a point of stopping in a crowd to say hi to. I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere condolences to Ron's family and friends. I had been working on some issues with Ron for the past 4 months. During that time Ron shared many of his ups and downs in life as far back as his days with the National Ski Jumping Team. I must say that I was extremely saddened when I heard of his passing.
