Obituary for Mrs. Janice Mills

Mrs. Janice Mills

JANICE MILLS
June 12, 1950 – July 21, 2018

It is with a broken heart, Sam Duce announces the sudden passing of his beloved wife Janice Mills from a brief illness on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at the young age of 68.

Janice retired 4 years ago from the Ministry of Heath. Sam and Janice retired together and purchased their dream home. They enjoyed spending time outdoors, gardening, quadding in the back 40, cooking and baking, and were stock car fanatics. Most important was spending time together with Sam. Janice also loved all animals.

Janice will be forever loved and remembered by Sam, her husband of 12 years; their niece, who was like a daughter, Wendy (Chris) and great niece Tori, who was the apple of Janice's eye, great nephew Brayden and great niece Aubrey; sister-in-law Jacquie Csik; niece Nicole and nephew Greg; brother Steve; step-daughter Kristin (Tommy, Dylan, Joshua, Teagan); mother-in-law Anne Duce; brothers-in-law Elden (Brenda) and Glen (Lorna); as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Al and Elizabeth Csik; brothers John and Elmer; father-in-law Lionel Duce, and Granny Genz.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm in the Westfort Prosvita, 721 West Gore Street. Should friends so desire, donations can be made in Janice's memory to the Thunder Bay and District Humane Society.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 332 North May Street, Thunder Bay.
