Mrs. Dorothy Kushner age 98 years, resident of Thunder Bay, passed away peacefully in Pinewood Court on Saturday, April 21, 2018.

She was born in Fort William on November 28, 1919. In 1944 Dorothy married the love of her life, Joseph. She was a stay-at-home mother, raising three children. Dorothy loved curling, speed skating and was an avid sports fan. She also enjoyed camping with her family.

Survived by her sons Brian (Tracey), Doug (Kelly) and daughter Donna Green (Deryl), grandchildren Justin, Madison, Brieanne, Cameron and Kyle Kushner, Kim (Brent) Iserhoff and Kevin (Stef) Green; great grandchildren Laney Iserhoff and Emma Green; sister Verna Galloway, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her husband Joseph, parents, sisters Edith, Florence, and brother Donald

Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Pinewood Court would be greatly appreciated.

The family of Dorothy Kushner would like to thank the doctors and staff of Pinewood Court for their compassion and care shown to her during her stay.

Arrangements are in care of Everest Funeral Chapel, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma.
